China foreign visitors have experienced vs China foreign visitors read about before the trips.

The easiest way to get to know a country is to read a travel blog or book about it. However, travel writing may reflect personal bias and it can quickly become outdated. China is a good case in point. The rapid development of China has created a clear divide between the perceptions formed through online reading and the firsthand experience of foreign visitors, especially in terms of air quality and places to visit.

Many travel bloggers used to talk about the heavy air pollution in China, which would put off anyone planning to visit northern China in winter. However, those who have experienced northern China in winter in recent years can tell you that this is an outdated concern, thanks to China's continuous efforts to control air pollution. Northern China oftern has clearer, bluer skies in winter than in other seasons. Snowfall is guaranteed in many locations and makes China's beautiful landscaps even more attractive. Iconic landmarks such as the Great Wall are even more beautiful when covered with snow in winter.

For travelers who only seek advice from blogs or books, their pre-trip image of China focuses only on a few big cities, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Smaller cities are considered less fun and therefore not worth visiting. However, foreign visitors who have experienced China before may tell you that they found more joy and great scenery, and gained a deeper understanding of China, by visiting some smaller cities. For them, China's beauty lies not only in its vibrant metropolises, but also in the ancient city walls and spectacular natural wonders.

In conclusion, what you read about a place may differ greatly from your actual experience of it. While travel blogs and books can be helpful, they should not be your only source of information. The best way to truly understand a place is to experience it for yourself.

The rapid development of China has created aclear divide between the perceptions formed through online reading and thefirsthand experience of foreign visitors, especially in terms of air qualityand places to visit. 既向读者预示了比较对照(a clear divide between ...) between这个词后面表示限定的foreign visitors有点远,可考虑改为between foreign visitors' pre-trip perceptionsand their firsthand experiences。

目前写的比较泛泛( more joy and great scenery;gained a deeper understanding of China),仔细思考,然后写出更具体的闪光点来,跟中国大城市的旅游风格形成互补。

; Contrary to popular portrayal, ... This stands in sharp contrast to ...

”they found more joy and great scenery“ 你可以自己检查一下,有没有错误啊?
