在第十单元学术报告写作的语境:

1）如果写的是非实证性的论述型的论文，那么你的working thesis就像一个初期暂定的中心思想，围绕着这个focus你不断查阅文献，而深入思考以及写作过程中，很大可能需要进一步调整或精确，所以叫做working thesis.


2）如果写得是实证性论文，那么这个workking thesis的意义就等于a research hypothesis，需要通过实施项目去得到相关数据来验证。
