老师 我对第四段中的第一句：The satisfaction of killing time and of affording some outlet, however modest, for ambition, belongs to most work, and is sufficient to make even a man whose work is dull happier on the average than a man who has no work at all. 中的 affording some outlet 不清楚。这个是说提供某种抱负的出路吗， 还有这个for ambition 这里也不是很清楚是什么意思，老师您能帮我解释一下吗 谢谢

of affording some outlet和of killing time是并列的。即，the satisfaction of killing time and the satisfaction of affording some outlet.  
outlet是“途径、出口”的意思，所以affording some outlet意思就是提供某种途径
for ambition 接outlet , an outlet for sth. 意思是，为sth找个出口。因而affording some outlet for ambition意思为“工作为人们实现抱负提供某种途径”
